Marion Jones's US relay team-mates have filed an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport seeking to retain their 2000 Olympic medals.
Jones was stripped of her medals last year after admitting to using steroids during the Sydney Games.
Last month, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) disqualified her eight relay team-mates, while conceding none of the athletes broke any rules.
Jones is currently serving a six-month jail term for lying about steroid use.
