whole process may last only several tens of minutes. "If the police detain an aggressive fan during the match or shortly after it, they will write a report on the incident and hand the accused to a state attorney who will decide on the person's possible handing to the judge sitting in the courtroom at the stadium," Svacek said. If law is seriously violated at the stadium, the perpetrator may be taken into custody or go behind bars. The interior and justice ministries plan to use the new measure against soccer rowdies more often, the daily Lidove noviny (LN) writes today. The ministries say no new laws are necessary to fight against soccer hooligans. The clubs of Banik Ostrava and Sparta Praha are infamous for the aggressive actions of a part of their fans.
