The governmnent counts with spending four to eight million crowns on the translations, she added.
Two out of ten bidders were eliminated over a failure to fulfil the tender conditions.
The commission eventually chose the Presto translating agency.
"The winning agency met all criteria and was also financially the most advantageous," the Government Office said.
The Czech Republic will take over EU presidency from France next January and it will hand it to Sweden in mid-2009.
