Italian police have arrested five men suspected of operating an Islamist terrorist cell.
Authorities believe the four Tunisians and one Moroccan were recruiting militants for operations abroad. They were picked up in dawn raids in Bologna, Ravenna and Como. Police say they are still seeking a sixth man. Italian authorities accuse the suspects of defrauding insurance companies by simulating road accidents and then using the money to finance the recruitment of militants and suicide bombers for Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq.
